Meet Mrs. Kowalczyk
Hello Eagle Nation! I am excited to be one of the school counselors in training at Freedom Elementary! I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in School Counseling at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK.
Education and being a teacher have been a passion of mine from a young age! I have about 9 years of experience in the education field. I currently teach 2nd grade. I am passionate about meeting the needs of all students to ensure their success. I have expectations for all students and know that with the proper support and resources, they can be successful.
My husband and our two daughters decided to stay in Oklahoma when my husband retired from the U.S. Army in February of 2024. We have come to enjoy lake days on our boat on Lake Lawtonka. The lake is definitely my happy place, and I always dread when summer ends. We are always busy running our daughters to softball and dance. I love to read when I have the time!

Define is composed of the school counselor standards as well as the student standards.

The Manage component is where school counselors establish agreements and use data to address the educational needs of our students.
Deliver
Deliver is where we implement our school counseling program and how our services are delivered to help student success.
Assess
Assess component focuses on the effectiveness of the school counseling program. This component analyzes participation, Mindsets & Behaviors, and outcome data.
